I hope that I will be able to keep up with it better this year now that things might settle down a little bit.

Since July, things have been busy. I gave birth to a (not so) little boy (we knew it would be a boy) named Ivan. He was 9 lb 9.6 oz and 22" long. He's now about 20 lbs and 27" long (he'll be 5 months Valentine's Day). He's so much fun. He's an extremely happy baby.

I'm really looking forward to the next few months. The girls turn 7 in a couple of weeks. Spring is coming (I love Winter but am ready for it to be over). I'm ready to start trying to lose this weight I gained last year when pregnant.

I'm having my open house today. Here is a copy of the card we are making for the make-n-take. It has Happy Valentine's Day on the inside. Supplies used (all Stampin' Up!): Stamp sets--Just B, Simply Said, Holidays and Wishes; Cardstock--Very Vanilla, Real Red; Ink--Real Red; Other--Heart to Heart punch.

I'll be using this card for teachers and such too.

I can't wait to begin playing with new toys from the new catalog soon. If you don't have your new catalog yet, let me know. Sale-a-bration is going on right now--for every $50 you spend, you get a free stamp set, paper pack or ribbon bundle. This is good through the end of March so contact me today.

I have some classes coming up--Simply Sent Card Elemets and a few stamp a stacks. See my SU website for details (www.angieb.stampinup.net).

Till next time (which will hopefully be soon).

Has it really been that long???

Wow, I can't believe I haven't updated since April. I'm really bad. May was spent working with Dan trying to get him a new job since he was "laid off" in April. We also spent every weekend up in Lansing or at the lake. I think since the beginning of May we have been home a total of 2 weekends. It has been a crazy summer. The kids got out of school in June and Dillon spent 2 weeks at Grandma's house and the girls were only home for a week before they started Girl Scout Day Camp. They aren't officially in Girl Scouts yet but it was open to all girls ages 5-12 from their school (and a few others). Today is their last day. They have thoroughly enjoyed it though and so have I since I haven't had to figure out what to do with them 5 days a week--instead it's been just Fridays and we have been headed to Lansing most Fridays for whatever reason.

I just started a new round of Stamps in the Mail if you are interested. I'm still working on getting July's projects done. Between classes every week and not being home on weekends, it's been hard to get them done.

I have one more class scheduled for August 4th and then after that I'm on maternity leave. The doctor told me last week if I can get through next week (I'll be 35 weeks then) she won't stop labor if it starts. This pregnancy has been sooooo much different than the other 2. I'm just as big but it's been much harder to get around and such. Of course it doesn't help when the kid drops at 32 weeks. That and the fact it's been hot so far this summer. Oh well.

Dan started his new job (thankfully) at the beginning of the month and he absolutely loves it. He is working for Target as a Group Leader in the Distribution Center about 20 minutes from here which means we didn't have to move either.

I'll quite boring you for now. Keep checking, I will try to update more often. Here's a project from the last round of Stamps in the Mail. It's an altered mini composition book.

All supplies Stampin Up!: Tempting Turquoise Designer Series Paper, Just Because Stamp Set, Lots of Thoughts stamp set; Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and More Mustard Markers; Very Vanilla cardstock; scissors, Small Oval punch. Mini composition book was bought at the local Dollar Tree.

Until next time (which hopefully will be soon).

Angie

Stamps in the Mail

Here is one of the cards for Round 3 that the girls are doing this month. I guess it was just too much to do with being a single (yet still married living in 2 different states) mom of 3, trying to get a 3,500 sq ft house ready to move into a 2,000 sq ft house 650 miles away, Thanksgiving, Christmas (the weekend we moved) and then trying to get the new house settled. Oh, by the way, did I mention that we got pregnant while doing all this? Yes, baby no 4 is due around Labor Day (fitting isn't it?).

I am in the process of setting up my stamp (craft) room--I know, it's been a pain in the you know what to actually get any stamping done. Of course, we just had a birthday party for my girls--they turned 6 so I did invitations for those at the "dining" room table that was set up in the family room since we couldn't get to our dining room yet. Needless to say, our basement has a lot of stuff in it that needs to come back upstairs.

I have my second round of Stamps in the Mail going right now and will be starting Round 3 next month. I'm not sure what we are going to be doing yet but it will include things out of the Occasions mini catalog.

I will try to post some pictures soon of the stuff I've been busy working on.

Thanks for visiting.

Finally

Sorry I have been away and not updating regularly. I was in Michigan with my husband looking for a new house. The kids and I currently live in Virginia but will be moving to Michigan at Christmastime to be with my husband again. He got out of the military in May and found a job in Kalamazoo in September after the kids had already started school so we stayed here and he went there. We were successful in finding a home and should be new homeowners on Nov. 14. I will be adding more pictures of cards and such hopefully next week when I get time to stamp some more up. Thanks for looking.

Stamps in the Mail

I started a group called Stamps in the Mail. For $25 a month for 3 months, you can make 4 stamped projects--usually 3 cards and 1 project. I'm excited about this and I can't wait for everyone to get their packages. I ordered all the stuff last night but am willing to do a second group if anyone else is interested. Here's the projects for the first month. I will be finishing up the projects soon and will try to upload those as well.

Supplies used: (All Stampin' Up!)
